As caregivers, we may find ourselves providing more physical support such as helping a loved one to sit, get dressed or eat. These activities can be uncomfortable and anxiety producing for the person receiving care. Learn the care partnering technique Hand-under-Hand® developed by dementia care expert Teepa Snow as a tool to keep the person engaged, feeling in control and calm.

Feel free to only watch, partner with someone in class or bring a friend, as we practice this hands-on technique with various care activities.
