If I could choose a second career I would be a gardener. I am passionate about the nurturing benefit nature provides for all of us, at any age. When choosing a name for our business, I wanted to encourage others with themes of sustenance, strength, and growth. An Orchard, to me, symbolizes abundance and prosperity.

Some say if you dream of an orchard it is a sign your productivity has paid off in life and is a reminder to be fruitful in all we do. It was my grandmother’s diagnosis of dementia that inspired my family to open our first personal care home over 10 years ago. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to learn about my business from the true experts including my grandmother, the many residents, families, and staff with whom I have worked. Sincerely, they sustain, strengthen, and grow my desire to learn more. I have a hand in every part of the operations of our buildings including environmental design, regulatory requirements, administration, operations, staff development, and even hands on care.
